Dr. Ahmed Hassan founded Idara Plus Academy to bring program-level discipline and practical management knowledge to institutions in Egypt and the wider region. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Cairo University, an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, and a BSc in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Cairo University.
For more than a decade he served at Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, finishing as PMO Director, where he led a program office overseeing more than 70 strategic projects worth over EGP 3 billion. Since 2020 he has worked as an entrepreneur, leading organizations that include Business Park in Egypt and Oasis of Glories in Oman, while advising more than 80 companies across Egypt, North Africa and the Gulf on business development, program delivery and performance.
He has taught more than 200 courses and diplomas at universities and institutes including Cairo University, the Arab Academy, Al Azhar University and Al Ahram Canadian University, and he speaks regularly at CEO and project management conferences in Egypt.
